Dr. Shalva Weil is a senior researcher at the Institute for Innovation in Education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.

She is a recognized expert on the Jews in India, and were present at the heritage conference where she gave a keynote on the Jews of Goa.

He has done research into Pre- Portuguese Christianity in Goa, and an ancient Jewish Settlement. In this lecture Fjeld focus on the city of Jerusalem as the center of the World, and a likely location of Biblical Ophir on the Konkan coast.
